Next...

After three or four long long long days of medical, safety, cultural,
and language training and assessment,
We were finally given our short term preliminary host family
assignments.

None of the 52 trainees really want to leave this retreat center after
being treated so well (they have spoiled us with amazing food,
cafecitos each couple of hours, warm showers and very little
responsibility).

Excuse me a moment if none of this makes sense. The delirium has not
worn off.

Um, we don't want to leave, but we are all anxious to get started with
this next phase at least. For the next three months, we will be living
in communities surrounded by other trainees in the same program with
similar Spanish level. This means we are broken up into groups of
about 4. Each one of us will live with a host family, and the training
will be community-based.

Ooo. I see a sweet poster on that wall. Sunny must be a celebrity. She's so... smiley in that picture!

wow that's a good eye michelle. I had to blow the picture up to have any idea what you were talking about.

Josh, i'm glad things are settling into something of a routine and hope your delirium wears off?
